Description
English: Peka Panit Turmeric Factory sign, the last turmeric powder factory in historic district, Bangkok Noi and Bangkok. In the past, it was hundreds of years ago, this area was a large source for growing and processing turmeric. Hence it was called "Ban Khamin" (turmeric settlement).

Turmeric powder is considered one of the important components of Thai herbs. It can be used both as a medicine and as a cosmetic for skin care.

This factory is located at the southwest corner of Phran Nok intersection, where Itsaraphap cuts across Phran Nok and Wang Lang roads.
