Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Sigma Zoom AF-α 35-135mm 1:3.5-4.5 is a first-generation AF lens released in 1986 for Pentax K, Nikon F, Sigma SA, Canon EF and Minolta A. It has a 35 to 135 mm focal range of push-pull design, and a MF-only 1:4 macro mode (down to 75 cm) at the tele end. Otherwise, the minimum focus distance is 1.8 meters. The rotating front element is threaded for a 55 mm lens hood or filter. Weight comes in at about 500 grams with the OEM lens hood.

On Nikon bodies, the lens relies on the camera's in-body AF motor and consequently cannot autofocus on cheaper models in the D3xxx or D5xxx lineup. It also predates the AF-D standard and exposure therefore may not be as accurate in certain situations such as when using fill flash.
