The chapter of n K A at the Vanderbilt University hasdied. A K E has also recently installed a chapter at the Univer-sity of Wisconsin. A T O has recently entered the Worcester PolytechnicInstitute and the University of Wisconsin. We note with regret that the University of Virginia chapterof K A lost their house by fire on February 4th. 3 A E granted two charters at the last convention, one tolocate at the University of Indiana and the other at SyracuseUniversity. Owing to an accidental violation of the law against pledgingpreparatory students, the chapter of Z T A at the Universityof Arkansas was forced to give up its charter. There is a determined movement on foot by K A, A T O^% A E, and K 2 to effect the repeal of the iron-bound anti-fraternity laws of South Carolina. The movement was defeated I—IW I—I oo W M o ► f

K A is planning to build a Memorial Hall at Washingtonand Lee University, Lexington, Va., where the fraternity wasfounded, under the auspices of Gen. Robert E. Lee.
