Notes The pier table was designed to stand against a wall between windows usually with a looking glass above, forming a decorative unit. This semi-circular version in neo-classical style has a finely figured frieze with and entablature. In the centre are crisply carved with festoons of drapery and spray of oak leaves and acorns. These motifs are continued in the square tapering legs carved with pendants of oak leaves tops with vertical oak leaves and bay leaves.
