Title
English: Side Rake and Tedder
Description
English:

Medium sized red farm equipment. On the right is a metal seat in between white wheels and has levers. Attached is the tedder. It is rods with teeth between to fluff hay. It is followed by two solid white wheels.

A side delivery rake placed hay in a straight windrow for hay loaders. A windrow is a long line or raked hay that has been laid out to dry. The hay was used to feed horses and cows on the land. A tedder enabled farmers to turn and fluff up windrows which had become wet.
