English: The historic Siddharas Kund of Sunakothi in Lalitpur district. There is a tradition that the procession and worship of Madhav Narayan in this tank starts from this tank. There are also 5 stone fountains in this tank. Due to the lack of drinking water in this Chapagaun, the locals used to use the water of this tank for drinking, bathing and household chores. There is Hiti Narayan on top of this tank and its water comes and accumulates in this tank. This tank is considered by the locals as a sacred tank. |
