English: Shrubs on bridge FWWI 1666 The bridge takes Wymondham Road > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1612486 over the dismantled railway trackbed of the cut-off railway line which ran between Forncett and Wymondham. The originally single-track line was used for main line diversion trains during the floods of 1912 and it was doubled for military purposes during WWI. Station buildings remain at nearby Ashwellthorpe > https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1412303. |
