| Description |
English: Shropshire Union Canal near Audlem, Cheshire. This shows the approach to Lock No 10 in the flight of fifteen raising the canal from the Cheshire Plain to the Shropshire heights, ninety-three feet (28.4 metres), with further lock flights to follow at Adderley and Tyrley. The building by the lock was formerly a stabling facility for the horses which hauled the boats. |
