Showing Her Whole Set of Teeth: The Full Broadside of One of the Brazilian Battleships Fired Simultaneously.

The heaviest broadside ever fired by a battleship: 9013 lb. weight of shot discharged at the same moment. Drawn by Charles John De Lacy, from materials supplied by W. G. Armstrong, Whitworh and Co. Publication date: Saturday, July 30, 1910. The Illustrated London News (London, England). Volume: 137 , Issue: 3719

Read the ILN article

Minas Geraes' gun trials; the illustration commemorates when the ship's ten 12-inch guns were trained to port to fire a full broadside. A Scientific American article of 1910 (with a photograph of a similar scene) remarked that this was "the greatest broadside ever fired from a battleship."
