Description An A-10 Thunderbolt II performs a show of force during Red Flag-Alaska 14-2, June 23, 2014, over the Joint Pacific Alaska Range Complex, Alaska. The A-10 provides close air support, typically called in by joint terminal attack controllers, to ground units with its GAU-8/A seven-barrel Gatling gun.
