English: Somerset & Dorset train near Shoscombe & Single Hill Halt. View eastward, towards Bath; S&D Bath - Templecombe - Bournemouth line (closed 7/3/66). This was a relatively level stretch of this mountainous line, along the Welland valley before the real climbing began at Radstock. The train is the 16.35 Bath (Green Park) to Templecombe, BR Standard 4MT 4-6-0 No. 75071 returning from Bath after working the train in my File:Windsor Hill 2118341 505f0875.jpg. |
