| Description |
English: Shore near Westcliff - view SW At the time this photograph was taken, the incoming tide had reached about as far as the dark mass of seaweed visible near the centre of the photo, but the nearer exposed shore was also very wet, with a cold wind driving water across the ripples in the sand.
On the other side of the River Clyde, part of Port Glasgow can be seen in the right-hand side of the image. |
