Summary

[edit]
Description

A row of three storey shopoffices along Jalan Tun H S Lee (previously Jalan Bandar and High Street), a so-called "preserved" set of pre-war buildings, completely gutted from the inside and merged into a single building as part of the "Plaza Warisan" (Heritage Plaza) complex, in central Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The remodelling was undertaken by the Urban Development Authority.

The lack of clear guidelines for architectural conservation in the majority of Malaysian cities and towns means unregulated neglect, alterations or demolition of lesser known pre-war buildings are common in the country.
