ja:東京都荒川区南千住から墨田区堤通付近にかけての航空写真。1989年度撮影。白髭西・白髭東地区の再開発地域の説明図。写真緑の枠内は白髭西地区(荒川区)の再開発の地域。ピンクの枠内が白髭東地区(墨田区)の再開発の地域におおよそあたる。白髭西地区は当時はまだ住宅が見られた。 現在緑の枠は近代的な高層マンションや都立汐入公園などとなり、大きく景観が変わった。ピンクの枠は1989年当時で整備は概ね完了しており、白髭東公園や都営白髭団地などとなっている。両エリアの間を流れている川は隅田川で、写真に写っている橋は水神大橋。写真左には南千住駅と貨物駅である隅田川駅が見られる。
