Summary
[edit]DescriptionShipping on the River Hull - geograph.org.uk - 706251.jpg |
English: Shipping on the River Hull, Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Tanker boats like this are used on the River Hull and Humber to transport large loads of fuel around. A boat like this will be able to carry a load many times larger than a road tanker and more efficiently too. The lifting bridge in the photograph is Drypool Bridge and at this point is on its way down after allowing passage of the tanker underneath. |
