English: Shin-Yatsushiro Station is a new Shinkansen station opened around March 2004. The station is currently the starting terminal of Kyushu Shinkansen Line, and a connection point between Kagoshima Main Line and Kyushu Shinkansen Line. Passengers can switch from Exrpess train "Relay-Tsubame" (the gray train in the far right side) to Super-Express train "Tsubame" (left) on the same platform, to avoid extra connecting time in this station.
中文：新八代車站是九州新幹線上一個新設的車站，位於九州新幹線與原本鹿兒島本線的交會點上。由博多（福岡）方向搭乘接駁特急列車「接力燕號」（右邊遠處的深灰色列車）的旅客，可以在同一個月台上換搭前往鹿兒島方向的新幹線列車「燕號」（左側白色列車），由於班車時間配合得非常精準，因此轉車耗時僅需5分鐘不到，非常便利。
