English: Kimera a 27 year old Mutoro from western Uganda says that he usually washes 50 to 60 pairs of shoes a day, this is so because of the many residents around his work place especially hostels that have hundreds of students who hate washing their shoes. He ends by saying that he washes a single pair of shoes at 500 Uganda shillings. He makes about 25000 to 30000 Uganda shillings on a good day which to a certain extent helps him survive and his family. |
