Description
Deutsch: Trawan ben Mohammed Majali, Scheich von Rabbat-Moab, ſtehend und von ſiben Gefolgsleuten umgeben, aufgnommen im Frühling 1910 auf einer von Prof. Ch. F. Kent (Yale) geführten Reiſe durchs Petræiſche Arabien. Der Scheich wurde zuſammen mit 71 anderen am 15. Juni 1911 nach einer Rebellion gegen die Türken in el Kerak gehängt.
English: Trawan ben Mohammed Majali, the Scheikh of Rabbat-Moab, ſtanding upright, ſurrounded by an Escort of Seven; Photograph taken in Spring 1910 during a Voyage thru Petraic Arabia led by Prof. Ch. F. Kent (Yale). The Scheikh and 71 of his Peers were hanged on 15th June 1911 in al Kerak after a Rebellion againſt the Turks.
