Description A transverse edge is shown here. The transverse edges of the slabs had a continuous shear key to help align the slabs in the vertical direction as a part of the FHWA, Highways for LIFE project with VDOT demonstrate the use of PCPS technology and jointed precast pavement system-Super-Slab® to replace concrete slabs on a section of I-66 and a ramp lane leading to US-50 West during nighttime partial or full closures.
