[edit]DescriptionSharp EL-512 in open case, power off, papers in sleeve (18953403622).jpg |
This keystroke-programmable scientific calculator came out in late 1981 and served very well as a replacement for an ailing TI SR-52 when I was in college. Its battery life was a tremendous 3,000 hours on silver-oxide cells. Considering that the rechargeable battery in the SR-52 was down to less than one school day, it lightened my load immediately. Today, more than 30 years later, it is still running on only its second set of batteries. |
