[edit]
Description
English: View of the 100 km diameter martian crater Sharonov and its surroundings. Situated in the Kasei Valles system of outflow channels, the crater divided the flow into two main branches that bracket it on the north and south.

This scene is a section of a larger THEMIS daytime infrared image mosaic of Kasei Valles. Kasei Valles is situated north of the Valles Marineris canyon system. It drains eastward into Chryse Planitia. North is at the top.

The original NASA image has been sharpened. Some of the features in this mosaic are annotated in Wikimedia Commons.
