Description The bus stop in Carter Avenue, Shanklin, Isle of Wight in June 2011. At the time it was served by Wightbus buses on route 22 up to the top of Sibden Hill and linking back to Sandown, Lake and the Co-op in Shanklin. However, from September 2011, the Isle of Wight Council axed all Wightbus operations to save money after funding cuts from central government. A replacement service is now run by Southern Vectis using volunteer drivers.
