English: Shady seats overlooking Priory Road. Landscaping between Bayley Lane and the extension to the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum makes unusual use of steel. A rolled steel section, lower right, supports a raised lawn. Vertical steel slabs are perforated with laser-cut inscriptions 1800539 1800544 The seats overlook the busy public space between the cathedral and the university. Trees breaking bud, left, are multi-stemmed Amelanchier canadensis. |
