| Description |
English: Shadehouse Lock and Bridge 52, Fradley, Staffordshire. The Trent and Mersey Canal. There is a flight of five locks at Fradley Junction, together dropping the water level by 35ft 8in (just under 11 metres). This is the top lock. Here the bottom gate paddles are up, allowing the lock chamber to empty. A boat is in the lock waiting to proceed towards the junction. |
