Description
English: Sergeant Charles Edward Levett served in the Imperial Camel Corps, 16th New Zealand Company, New Zealand Army, during World War I. He was killed in action 30 March 1918 in Palestine at age 29, and is buried at the Damascus Commonwealth War Cemetery, Damascus, Syria. Sgt. Levett was the son of Charles A. J. and Helen R. Levett, of Ranfurly Road, Feilding, New Zealand.
