English: Sgùrr na Clach Geala south ridge It's a long walk to do all the main block of the Fannaichs in one day, and the task isn't made any easier by the outlying peaks. The southern ridge of Sgùrr nan Clach Geala leads to Sgùrr nan Each, with a reascent of only about 110m, but the walker must then retrace his steps, climbing another 280m to get back to where he was an hour or so ago. At least it was fairly breezy for this out-of-season ascent, and the midges weren't biting ! |
