Description
English: Lead papal bulla, now damaged and bent. On one face can be seen the letters SPA SPE (for St Paul and St Peter); St Paul's face can be seen below but St Peter's has now been removed by recent (agricultural?) damage. On the other side is the inscription IOHAN / NES: PP: / .XXIII. This bulla was attached to a document issued by Pope John XXIII, who was elected pope in 1410, deposed by the Council of Basel in 1415, and died in 1419.
