| Description |
English: Sewer and water channel, Salterhebble, Halifax The main sewer for Halifax is probably the iron pipeline built into the bank of the stream, with a vertical tee junction as an access point. The water channel feeds two ponds alongside the site of a canal lock. I should think that the water is piped from the ponds to the canal basin on the western side of Huddersfield Road. The stream in between the two conduits is Hebble Brook. |
