English: Sewage works and water meadows, Kingston near Lewes. The flat country beyond the waste water treatment plant is part of The Brooks, a wide and watery gap in the South Downs through which the River Ouse flows. The Chalk exposure on the side of the Downs (outside the gridsquare) is the face of a former quarry. |
