Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Sewage treatment plant Until about ten years ago the effluent from Anstruther, like that from most other Fife towns, flowed untreated through sewage pipes into the Firth of Forth. Now it is rendered less noxious (and possibly poorer nourishment for sand eels and other fish) in this pale green building that hums gently alongside the Fife Coastal Path.
