| Description |
English: Severn floods at the Carrington Bridge - 1 Looking south from the bridge across some choppy flood water extending a long way from the west bank of the river across the flood plain. The river itself hugs the base of the higher ground on the left. Quite a lot of debris sloshing around, which farmers have to pick up after it settles on the fields to avoid damaging hay-making machinery in the summer. Flooding here to this extent is fairly common, perhaps once a year on average. |
