Title
Serrated-edge flake
Description
English: Flint serrated-edge flake, sub-triangular in plan (apex to the left, base to the right), bi-convex in profile. The distal edge is serrated and sharp with a jagged profile. On the dorsal face there is a distinct point on the left. The proximal edge shows signs of a fracture. There is cortex along the right margin. The flint is grey with pale mottles and has secondary cortex. It is likely to have derived from a local beach pebble.

Mercer (1981) shows a similar example on page 143, Figure 63, Number L207.
