Title
Serrated-edge flake
Description
English: Flint serrated-edge flake, near lozenge-shape in plan, except for the truncated proximal end, sub-triangular in profile and bi-convex in section. On the dorsal face there is a prominent point at the distal end, seemingly the result of retouch, particularly on the right side. The upper right margin is scalloped. Both lateral margins are sharp, with the left being serrated. The proximal end has been snapped and possibly retouched. The flint is light grey with darker patches and bands. It has no cortex so is classed as tertiary.

Mercer (1981) shows a similar serrated-edge flake on page 143, Figure 63, Number L207.
