English: Giant Sequoia (Sequoiadendron giganteum) in Sequoia National Park, California, United States. The tree is named General Grant. With a height of approximately 81.5 metres (267 ft), it is the third highest known tree in the world. The diameter at the base of the tree is over 32 metres (105 ft). Its age is estimated at 1,800 to 2,000 years.
