One of the first things you notice from the air is a landcape is brimming with water in every direction - such as in this view of Kaskanak Creek in the Kvichak watershed. The vast amount of aquatic habitat and the complexity of that habitat give a hint into the reasons why these watersheds harbor such large and genetically diverse salmon communities.
