DAVISON COUNTY COVER CROP TOUR --COME SEE COVER CROPS THAT ARE AERIAL SEEDED & DRILLED---

9:30-10:30 a.m.

  • Drilled cover crop plots located in the NE1/4 15-104-62 (5 miles N. of Mitchell Vern Eide to 247th St. (Loomis oil), 11 miles west, & ½ mile north on 398th Ave. OR 6 miles north of Mt. Vernon, 1 mi. east, & ½ mi. north)
  • Producer experiences, Cover crop blends & characteristics, & grazing cover crops.

10:30-11 a.m.

  • Travel to aerial seeded cover crop plots located at the SE1/4 12-101-61 (9 miles south of the Interstate on 406th Ave.) Transportation between sites is available.

11-12 p.m.

  • Producer experiences, aerial application, coated seed, cover crop strategies, & plant ID.

Noon--- Lunch provided on site (Please RSVP by 9/11/2015-5 p.m.)
