Description |
English: Seppuku is the ritual form of suicide many Westerners know as hara-kiri. The right to put an end to one’s life is exclusively reserved for members of the samurai class. Nevertheless, it continues to be be something that only takes place in exceptional cases, in contrast to what many Westeners at the time thought. |
