Description
English: Senegal navy Lt. Jean Pierre Tine, left, and U.S. Navy Aviation Boatswain's Mate Handling 1st Class Leonard Starr cut a cake during a Martin Luther King Jr. remembrance ceremony aboard amphibious transport dock ship USS Nashville (LPD 13), Jan. 19, 2009, in the Atlantic Ocean. Nashville deployed as a part of Africa Partnership Station, an international security cooperation initiative facilitated by Commander, U.S. Naval Forces Europe-Africa aimed at strengthening global maritime partnerships through training and collaborative activities to improve maritime safety and security in Africa.
