Taft, Republican of Ohio, today told reporters the neutrality zone policy 'tends to involve us in disputes with other nations that might conceivably lead to war.' He added that attempts by the U.S. and other American countries to enforce a security zone around North and South American are perfectly indefensible and ridiculous
