Wosinsky Mór Kindergarten Selyemgyár Street Site. Plaque-relief to the first kindergarten institution by Pál Farkas (1987 marble plaque bronze relief) is befor fence - 5 Selyemgyár Street, Tolna, Tolna County, Hungary.
Magyar:
Selyem Óvoda, hivatalos 2023-as név: Wosinsky Mór Óvoda Selyemgyár Utcai Telephelye. OM azonosító szám: 202088. A falánál márvány domborműves emléktábla (Farkas Pál, 1987)[1] található, mely az itt működő, az ország első óvó képzőjének állít emléket. Mérete: 60x60 cm Márványlapon az óvóképzőt ábrázoló bronz dombormű található, mérete 15x45 cm. Felirat: 'Ezen a helyen állt az első magyarországi kisdedóvóképző intézet, melynek megvalósításában Gróf Festetics Leónak kiemelkedő érdeme volt. Az intézet alapításának IV. Tolna város emléktáblái 2004-ben 150. évfordulójának alkalmából, az elődök iránti tiszteletből, méltatva az óvóképzés hazai és egyetemes történelmi jelentőségét, emléktáblát állítottak a magyarországi óvó- és tanítóképző főiskolák, a Magyar Pedagógiai Társaság, Tolna megye Tanácsa és Tolna Nagyközség polgárai 1987 november 10.' - Az első óvóképző intézetet 1836 júniusában nyitották meg Londonban. Magyarországon 1836 májusában gróf Festetich Leó felajánlotta egyik tolnai házát egy létrehozandó kisdedóvóképző és példányintézet (gyakorló óvoda) számára. Az intézet 1837 októberében nyitotta meg kapuit Tolnán a Kisdedóvó Intézeteket Magyarországban Terjesztő Egyesület támogatásával.
