| Description |
This waterfall is famous among all tourist in Iceland. Pretty much everyone stops here to take some photos. Situated in southern Iceland, it can already be seen from the Ring Road. The river Seljalandsá, having its origin underneath the glacier Eyjafjallajökull, drops here about 60 meters from a tall cliff that was once Icelands southern coastline. A pathway leads all the way around the waterfall, offering great opportunities for photos. Be sure, however, that your equipment is weather-proof. |
