AR Didrachm (8.19 g, 1h).
ΣEΛIИO^-I-OИ, Herakles standing right, holding club overhead in right hand, preparing to strike the Cretan Bull, standing right, which he holds with his left hand by a horn
HYΨ-AΣ, river god Hypsas standing left, holding branch in left hand, phiale in his right, from which he sacrifices over serpent-entwined altar to left; to right, parsley leaf above heron walking right.
Italiano: Sicilia, Selinunte. 455-440 a.C.
AR Didracma (8.19 g, 1h).
ΣEΛIИO^-I-OИ, Eracle stante dx., ha una clava in alto tenuta dalla mano destra, si prepara a colpire il Toro di Creta, che tiene fermo per un corno.
HYΨ-AΣ, il dio fluviale Hypsas stante sin., tiene un ramo con la sinistra, phiale nella destra, con cui sacrifica su un altare avvolto da serpenti; sulla destra airone passante destra e sopra foglia di selinon.
