Summary
[edit]DescriptionSelasphorus rufus-2.jpg |
On today's bike ride we nearly ran over something in the road. It turned out to be a hummingbird, unable to fly. Fortunately, we had Kathy's camera along. Our largest bird book shows the range of this bird from the Oregon border north, but this bird has a lot of rust color on the top of the tail feathers, something the Calliope and Anna's hummingbirds don't have. |
