Nederlands: Vlaamse seizoensarbeiders met hun zakken op hun schouders komen aan boord van een trein. De lange reis naar Frankrijk voor veel seizoensarbeiders was een bijzonder gebeuren. Als baggage namen werkers slechts het noodzakelijke mee: enkel reservekleding, gebruiksvoorwerpen en vooral veel voedsel.
English: Flemish seasonal workers board a train with their bags on their shoulder. The voyage to France for many seasonal workers was a special event. As luggage, workers only took the necessities with them: only spare clothes, utensils and above all a lot of food. |
