Description
This is a photograph of an architectural monument.
It is on the list of cultural monuments of Seestermühe, no. 7977.

Deutsch: Seestermühe - Am Altenfeldsdeich 6 - Haupthaus der ehem. Hofanlage Detjens - Baujahr: 1812

- Das abgebildete Gebäude ist ein Fachhallenhaus von 10 Fach, das 1812 errichtet wurde. Es hat die Form eines Halbkreuzhauses, was bedeutet, dass quer zum Haupttrakt auf einer Seite ein sogenanntes Sommerhaus angebaut wurde. Der Name erklärt sich daher, dass der Anbau ursprünglich nur im Sommer genutzt werden konnte, weil er nicht heizbar war. Das Gebäude mit massiven Außenwänden zeigt auf der Wirtschaftsseite einen sehr steilen Vollwalm, im Wohnteil einen Halbwalm. Das Sommerhaus hat einen zweistufig verschalten Vollgiebel. Im Grootdörsturz ist folgende Inschrift eingeschnitten:

- Hinter dem Haus – hier nicht im Bild – steht ein Göpelschauer, der heute als Dorfmuseum genutzt wird. Er ist gesondert beschrieben.

- Das Anwesen wurde 1572 als voller Bauhof erwähnt. Ab 1783 ist die Familie Meinert Eigentümerin. Die Witwe von Joachim Meinert heiratete 1817 in zweiter Ehe Claus Detjens. Die Familie Detjens betrieb den Hof über viele Generationen bis 1981. Dann wurde die Landwirtschaft eingestellt, unter anderem weil die Gutsverwaltung die Pachtländereien gekündigt hatte.

- Eine zum Hof gehörige Doppelscheune, wurde abgebrochen, Teile des Baumaterials hat man zur Restaurierung des Göpelschauers benutzt. Jörn Stawe kaufte 1990 die Hofstelle und sanierte das Hauptgebäude.
