Deutsch: Graf Anton Clemens von Toerring (1725-1812), Schlossherr auf Schloss Seefeld, war als weit gereister Landwirtschaftsexperte Präsident der Bayerischen Akademie der Wissenschaften. In Mecklenburg und Ostpreußen beeindruckten ihn die Alleen, die Friedrich Wilhelm der I. als schattenspendende Heerstraßen hatte anlegen lassen. In den 1770er Jahren übernahm er diese Idee für friedlichere Zwecke und ließ 765 Eichen entlang des Weges pflanzen, der sein Schloss mit dem damals dazugehörigen Gut Delling und der Schwaige Ettenhofen verband. Bei dem Teil der Straße, der zwischen Seefeld und Delling verläuft, ist wegen der Schadstoffbelastungen durch den Verkehr die Pflege der Bäume für das Straßenbauamt inzwischen zu einer kostspieligen Daueraufgabe geworden. Zwischen Delling und Ettenhofen hat sich der ursprüngliche Charme der Allee erhalten. Statt auf Kraftfahrzeuge trifft man hier nur hin und wieder auf Wanderer.
