ASTERS. Per packet 5c Comet Aster. curled. They have Hohenzollern. This distinct class of Asters resembles very much the Japan Chrysanthe- mum in size and shape of flowers. The petals are long and beautifully wide range of handsome colors and are extremely floriferous. Pink and White, Light Blue. Carmine. Purple, Pure White. Per packet 5c New Giant Comet Aster. Snow-white. (See Novelties, page 3. ) Qlieeil Of the Market,—Very early, extremely floriferous. medium high variety. Flowers of medium /.' .O/ size, double, with very long stems. Excellent for bouquets. White, Light Blue. Carmine, Mixed. Per packet 5c II Queen of the Market, itZf^^3 This is a very pretty class, with perfect double flowers of various colors: very dwarf and contnues in flower a long time. White. Pink. COMET ASTER. flowers of any, but at the expense of quant- ity : many measure six inches and over in diameter, and are perfectly double ; height, eigh- teen inches. White, Pink and Carmine. Per packet 5c Deep Scarlet Triumph, - This is undoubtedly the most beautiful and perfect of all dwarf Asters. Each plant forms an elegant bouquet of itself, seven to eight inches high. The flowers measure from two to two and a quarter inches across of fauntless form. The color is a rich, brilliant scarlet: each plant bears at the least thirty to forty flowers of exquisite beauty. Per packet 10c Asparagus Sprengerii.^ N#*w (See page 3 for description and illu- MC™* stratum.) BALSAMS. Balsams or Ladies' Slippers are old favorites with every one, owing to their handsome double flowers, brilliant colors and stately growth. To produce very double flowers, they must be transplanted into very rich soil, in a sunny position and frequently watered. Cutting out some of the side branches is also very advisable, especially with the strong and bushy growing varieties.
