Seed Grain. Continued, R11C itXA/h&Zbt Japanese.-This variety is rapidly UUl Ivnl I CO displacing all other sorts of Buck- wheat. It ripens early and has much larger grains than all others. In shape the kernels are peculiar and distinct. Color a dark brown. It manufactures a superior flour. Per peck 40c, bushel $1.25 Choice Seed Oats. Lincoln.—One of the best oats. The following are a few of its points of ex- cellence : It is very early, and has thus far proved itself rust proof. It has given wonderful results as a yielder, in one instance 174 bushels were grown from one bushel of seed. Straw is stiff and strong. Grain is handsome and is valuable for feeding as well as grinding for oatmeal on account of its thin hull, heavy meat and soft nib. Per peck 25c, bushel 75c (New Zealand.—This oat takes its name from the country from which it came. It is a white side oat, of medium size, with heavy heads of about 100 grains each. In Iowa, where other sorts were badly rusted, the New Zealand was almost entirely free. Has tested 40 lbs. to the measured bushel without recleaning. - Per peck 25c, bushel 75c High Grade Seed Wheat. Saskatchewan Fife. (Spring.)—Has all the general characteristics of Scotch Fife, from which it is descended by careful selections. It excels in earliness, hardiness, productiveness and freedom from smut and all dis- eases. It is highly endorsed by leading growers. Peck 50c, bushel $1.50 I3Y/IZ" Spring.—This variety has been developed simply by planting l\ ¥ Winter Rye in the spring and selecting the seed so procured for several years. The standard variety for spring planting. Per peck 30c, bushel $1.00 NEW.... ZEALAND OATS. Lawn Grass. Dallwig's Emerald Green Grass <3s§—^Mixture. ^^=~ The Lawn Crass Mixture which we offer should not be compared with the cheaper preparations advertised. Our prescription is of the best chosen varieties, as respects color, texture and permanency, and will be found clear of weed seeds. Any one who purchases cheap, badly mjxed Lawn Crass will soon realize that it was a poor investment, as the error will stand out for years in glaring ugliness. The grasses of which "Dallwig's Emerald Green Lawn Mixture" is com- posed will in the shortest time possible produce a beautiful dwarf, compact turf, which will endure the summer heat, and insure a rich, deep green sward throughout the season. We take everv precaution to eliminate as far as possible all weed seeds. Per pound 20c, 6 pounds $1.00 GRASS SEEDS. The following list gives names and short description of the very best varieties for general use. Prices Sii"bj<sct to Market Changes. Timothy.—It makes the best hay for horses and market of the entire list, and being an early grass is well adapted to spring grazing. It is a perennial, and if the meadow i3 kept in good fertility by sur- face dressing it will last and bear good crops indefinitely. We handle strictly pure stocks for those who want the best only. Sow 15 to 25 pounds to the acre. (Bushel 45 pounds).
