ason.Sow seed outdoors, after weather is warm and settled, wherethe plants are to stand in rows one foot apart. They shouldhave a sunny situation. Well pulverized soil should be usedbut it does not need to be rich. Cover seed about one-eighthinch deep. Thin to two inches apart. For massed beds seedcan be sown broadcast, the soil sifted on and the whole bedcarefully pressed with a board.
