Description

Das ehem. in Petershausen am Rhein gelegene frühere »Petershausener Schäpfle« gehörte bis zur Säkularisation (Nutzung kirchlicher Besitztümer durch weltliche Nutzer) im Jahr 1802 - 1803 zum Benediktinerkloster Petershausen. Nach der Auflösung des Klosters wurde es zur Kaserne umgebaut und 1850 als Gasthaus »Schäpfle« zum Offizierskasino des 6. Bad. Infanterie-Regiments unter Kaiser Friedrich III. -

Am 27. April 1898 wurde das Gebäude durch einen Brand völlig zerstört und 1900 wurde mit dem Neubau des jetzigen Gebäudes begonnen und diente bis 1945 wieder als Offizierskasino. Nach 1945 übernahmen die franz. Besatzungstruppen das Kasino und nach deren Abzug 1977 diente es der Philharmonie Konstanz als Proberäume. Ab 2000 wurde das ehem. Kasino nach Renovierung Gastronomiebetrieb.
